Alexander McQueen SS2011.

I am literally blown away by Alexander McQueen's Ready-To-Wear Spring/Summer 2011 collection. Each piece is absolutely unique in it's own way. The collection was clearly inspired by nature and presented on a catwalk consisting of bare floorboards with grass emerging from between them, setting an entirely different approach to the McQueen's famous spectaculars. Although the collection was full of McQueen trademarks and ideas, it was not as dark as we would normally expect from a McQueen show and it had a very different and far more optimistic sensibility about it.

Simply breathtaking...
