A charming city with an architectural spectrum from contemporary to colonial architecture, Valencia is the host of Valencia Disseny Week 2010. The exhibition, "Uniendo Puntos, Diseño latinoamericano y Diseño español" is being held at the University of Valencia and represents the integration of the diverse identities. It explores, educates and promotes the different 'points' that makes them different although many share the same language and a historic union through colonization. The work is diverse and unfolds a sense of individuality, culturally and creatively. By placing these designers and artists together, the exhibition helps generate a discourse on the homogeneous ties of not only language and history but also courage, passion and will, all necessary traits to gage forward and create change.
